Sitting on my front deck this morning with my cup of coffee, I heard a banjo playing above me on the upper deck. My guest came to Eagles View to experience being in the middle of nature at its finest. He came to relax and play his banjo. It was so enjoyable for me to relax and listen to him play such incredible music. The sound I heard reconnected me with my heritage of my grandparents and their parents. They sat on the porches of Kentucky with their banjos creating music. Back then life moved at such a slower pace. This is one of the things I wanted to create, a place where people can slow down and enjoy nature. I also had the pleasure meeting a couple who stayed the last couple of days. She is a cancer survivor. They shared recipes with me and tips on a healthy diet. I feel so truly blessed that every person who comes to Eagles View Bed & Breakfast leaves me with some kind of blessing. It is so rewarding and gives me such self satisfaction that my place touches people and in return they touch my heart in a very special way.

Hello,
Read your #13 message, which is beautifully expressed, one can sense the tension, the anxiety, the bride giving it up to fate, and you being ready with a response from your unconscious. You might look into Mark Knopfler, a really enjoyable lyricist who has that folk quality to most of his music, which is almost always telling a story. You might remember his voice from Dire Straits–he was the genius behind that success, and still makes music. Our local library had 6 of them and I liked them all. I stumbled on your BnB
looking for someplace near Laurel River for this weekend.
It looks wonderful! Take care,
Hollie
